This wallpaper deserves to be highlighted because of many reasons:
The fence looks so real and detailled that you can almost touch it. In many cases, wallers copy and paste similiar objects of the background (e.g. flowers). But this fence looks like it has been drawn stroke by stroke.
The colours and combination of highlights and shadows create a dark and mysterious atmosphere which suits the manga perfectly. I'm glad dolce-yasmin didn't stick to the original colours which wouldn't be as effective as the brown tone.
Not to forget the vector itself which is not only a huge improvement of the original scan, but also shows you dolce-yasmin's improvement of her vectoring skills!
Thank you for your comment on 'solitude by the window', I'm glad you liked it! ^^ The still-life quality of the various items arranged in the room was also what attracted me to this particular image.
Hi, thanks for commenting on my Spike Spiegel wallpaper!
Awesome, and surprising that I have not seen a Warhol Cowboy Bebop wallpaper/image sooner.
Yeah, I was surprised no one beat me to the concept, too.
Nice use of colors, and good positioning of the characters relative to the background. An image that works well in summing up the series.
